Hunger Games Obsessed

I finished the 3rd and last book in the Hunger Games series last night!
Absolutely LOOOOOVED it! I was sad when it was over b/c I didn't want it to end!
We pre-ordered our tickets to see the movie based on the first book for Sunday afternoon in the balcony at our fancy theater here! I seriously cannot wait! I got giddy when they showed a new preview during The Oscars!

I cannot wait to see how they depict the capitol and the game arena! I read some intial critic reviews and everyone is loving it! So let's hope this one is uber-successful and they make Catching Fire and Mockingjay into movies also!!

So I know it all works out in the end but in the first book you still don't know... so at that point were you all Team Peeta or Team Gale?

I've been Team Peeta from the beginning. I'd totally buy a shirt that said Team Peeta. Is there one out there?

Yes! I found it! How much crap would I take if I wore this?? I think it's cute..

2010 Resolutions

Last year I didn't make a new years resolution, I thought they were dumb and people never stuck to them so I figured why make a promise I won't keep. This year I've decided to make a few, hopefully with this blog I'll be able to keep a few of them and grow a little. :)

  1. Get Organized - I think I silently make this resolution every year, but this year I'd like to REALLY get organized. Step 1 is to get a bigger house. We grew out of our house months ago and have started looking at houses to buy. Once we find one and move in I can't wait to get everything organized nicely.

  2. Read More - I love losing myself in a good book, it's a great way to escape and live in a different world for a while. I also love reading about health and fitness. My plan is to read one new book each month. I got Bethenny Frankel's book "Naturally Thin" for Christmas. This will be my first book of 2010, it's a little bit of stories, encouragement and recipes. I love Bethenny on the Real Housewives of New York and I hope I will enjoy her book as much as I enjoy her on the show! I'll let you all know what I think.

  3. Blog More - I have really enjoyed blogging over the past couple months and would love to be able to look back at all the posts I've made throughout an entire year. I'll shoot for 3-4 posts a week. Still not sure what my blog theme is but hopefully with more blogging it will become clear.
  4. Buy a House and Make it a Home - we're shopping for a house in OKC currently and we need to move in before Dave starts Dental School. I'd love for it to be comfortable for him to study in and us to live in by his first class in July. (Hopefully we find one in plenty of time for my self-imposed July deadline)
  5. Find a tennis club nearby the new house and get back in the swing of it!

What are some of your New Years Resolutions?
