Five on Friday!

One..
I picked up this Laura Mercier palette over Christmas and totally forgot to mention it here, it's awesome. I love all the eye shadows, it's rare to find these where all the colors are in my wheelhouse and I needed some blush in my life and this palette has 2 that are both good, one that's not as strong which I like a lot.
Here's a closer pic of the eye shadows:

Two..
We've been getting dumped with winter storms over and over, and consequently I'm over winter.

Three..
I've got 3 weeks left until my due date, and I've been on the hunt for some new pj's and a new robe to take to the hospital / live in for weeks after... I saw the cutest set at Target but of course they only had XXL in both Targets near us. And they're not online :( Does anyone have any ideas where else I should look? I was able to pick up one of these nursing tanks that looks super comfy!
Oh and I already got my Valentine's Day present - I'm just preparing to hibernate for a few weeks I think... that's the right attitude to take toward life with a newborn right?

Four..
This little guy is in for a real shock in a few weeks.. he's so used to being our baby.. Hopefully we can still manage to give him a little attention here and there.

Five..
Some Dental Valentine's Day Humor for you!

Five on Friday!

One..
Got so much amazing stuff at my baby shower on Saturday! Amazed by my awesome friends and fam. I wrapped up my hostess gifts with my new fave ribbon:

Two..
Stella and Dot Spring Line released and OMG I'm obsessed with some of the jewelry. It's probably one of their best lines yet. I'll be living in these pieces:

Top Left - Milana Tassel Necklace - Tassel is removable - this is the perfect shade of Gilver - Asa from Shah's would totally NOT approve!
Top Right - Milana Tassel Bracelets - tassel is removable on these babies too, and they're stretchy, aka super comfy.
Bottom Left - Linden Necklace - obsessed with this color. Can't wait to wear it with a nice tan this summer :)

Bottom Right - Elodie Necklace - reminds me of some of my grandmothers costume jewelry that Iw as obsessed with. Also loving the colors for spring.

Three..
We saw American Hustle the other night and I can't stop thinking about Amy Adams hair in the movie... I think I may need to find myself some hot rollers and give it a try. I'd kill for her bouncy curls!

Four...
Also saw Lone Survivor, which was also great. Can't believe how bad-a these guys were, which Dave apparently already knew b/c he reads medal of honor stories in his free time (he does what?). I told Dave after that I feel bad complaining about my back hurting now... these guys were put through the ringer and still going strong. I think I liked it a little bit more since it had the Friday Night Lights music that we all know and love. (and also Tim Riggins)

Five...
I'm pretty over being pregnant at this point... I'm ready for the baby to be here. And to be able to bend over, and to be able to get out of bed without it taking 15 minutes, and to be able to look at my feet without grossing myself out... any tips on getting through this last month would be fab. So far this is all I've got.

One...

I did a little shopping with my mom last weekend and came across some gems I have to share!
Available at The Snow Goose in Tulsa or online here.

Some great cocktail napkins, I can't remember where I found these...
Had to go by the liquor store for a gift and couldn't help but buy this bottle for myself for after baby of course.. Shopping in a liquor store 7.5 months pregnant is not a fun task btw. People are judgey.

Two...
If you haven't seen this 1 minute Coca Cola Ad from Argentina, stop what you're doing and watch it. It's the sweetest thing ever!

Three...
My sister put out her Best Jams of 2013 list - you guys should check. it. out.

I will for sure be making a version of this Christmas Tree Cheese Tray -

Five on Friday!!

http://www.northcarolinacharm.com/2013/12/five-on-friday.html

One...
Thanksgiving was wonderful! We may have won the award biggest family Thanksgiving - if there was such an honor? And we were missing people! Can you believe it? These tables were full and sit 55!
If my Dad had made it there would have been 4 generations in this picture! (If you count the baberz- which I do!)
With just a few of my gorgeous cousins! Love them!!

I bought 2 dresses that were terrible so had to go with my last choice.. it's whatever.
My Preggo Stacked Plate - I'm still dreaming about the truffle oil mac and cheese; One of the four dressed up birds!; The happy couple getting a blessing from Father Tom; Lyrics to a beautiful song sung in honor of my grandparents - brought tears to this emotional preggo's eyes

It was so great to see all the fam, especially my adorable grandparents who were also celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary! Such an amazing example they've set for us all. My grandma is so cute, she had a cold and had lost her voice and said "I've been disarmed, my voice is my weapon". She's full of the best little sayings, I wish I had a book of all of them!

Two...
I read about this Magic Moroccan lipstick on the Daybook blog and with the $4 pricetag I thought, what the heck? This stuff works people! It does turn a very pink color, which is perfect for me but if you're not a pink fan then I'd steer clear. But check this out guys, it lasts almost all day for me! I just wish the tube was prettier..
don't judge this picture.. this was after our 6 hour drive home from Houston
Three...
Anthro is killing me with their adorable clothing options this season... if only I didn't have 3 months left of baby bump I'd be filling my cart with all of these and not looking back!
 Estrie Henley - $68

Four...
My adorable cousins made the most delicious cupcakes from a recipe they found on pinterest, yall these were incredible. I already have them on my list of must-bake for Christmas!

Five...
HomeGoods has also been killing it lately with the Christmas items! Here are a few things I picked up this week! Perfect hostess gifts for every occasion!

Happy Friday! Bumpdate coming soon.. if I can get myself dressed one of these days :)

Five on Friday!

One...
Next week is Thanksgiving!! On one hand I'm like woah seriously already?? And on the other hand I'm like shit yeah about time! We're going down to Houston this year to spend Thanksgiving with my Dad's enormous side of the family! Looking forward to seeing my 35 first cousins (for real, my dad is one of 12 children, Irish Catholics, I'll tell ya)! And I'll be bringing some fun Thanksgiving Photo Props to document the holiday! You can print your own here!

Two...
How cute are these Thanksgiving "Leftovers" printables?! Found via Carolina Charm - link to printables here!

Three...
Here's a little sneaky peak into the little guys nursery! I always knew I wanted a daybed for the nursery but once we found out it was a boy I struggled with finding one that I thought was masculine enough. I stalked this baby on Craigslist, had to email the chick at least 7 times before she responded but she did and I made it mine. Then I found out it was 3.5 hours away from my house.. cue Dave calling me a crazy person. But after I listed out all the reasons why it was perfect and what a deal it was, he obliged my hormonal craziness and drove me the 3.5 hours, loaded up the daybed and drove me back. We're off to a good start!
(Note: these are the pics from Craigslist, I obvi cleaned it up and made it pretty)

Four...
I've been recording Bethenny's talk show and watching the episodes that sound interesting. I'm SO glad I decided to watch the show where she had James Blunt on! He totally cracked me up during his whole interview and then at the end played his new song, which I'm now obsessed with!
Here's their funny interview:

And here's his new song: (he crashed a wedding to film this video, makes it cuter right?)

Five...
I picked up these break and bake cookies at Target before Halloween and was SO happy they had them still for Thanksgiving. You guys, these are seriously the best cookies in the world. Please please go buy some, you can thank me later.

Have you all started your Christmas lists yet? I'm working on a "Gift Guide" but it's taking me longer than I expected... I want to only give you guys THE best options! I'd love to hear if you've posted one somewhere!
