Summer Under $50!

Since we live in Oklahoma and happened to be lucky enough to get hit with the hail storm that blew through a couple weeks ago, we are now the lucky homeowners who get to deal with needing a new roof and having two basically totalled cars. Awesome. (sense the sarcasm?)

So I decided to do a post of the things I love for this summer and they're all under $50!

Centsational Girl is one of my daily reads, as soon as a new post pops up in my reader I click it immediately! She's got the best step by step instructions for refinishing or DIY'ing just about anything you'd want! And I was lucky enough to win one of her fab giveaways the other week! (So exciting that it deserves it's own post!)

I've been a fan of Aubrey and Lindsey's blog since I saw their awesome ikea transformations! Check out this side table makeover - amazing! We loved their desk so much that we're going to buy the parts this weekend! I hope it turns out as good as theirs:

We'd also like to copy their privacy trellis for our deck this summer, might have to wait until tornado season dies down...

Springtime Decor AKA Everything I want right now :)

Spring is by far my favorite season of the year.  I love the days where you can leave the doors open and it's the same temperature inside as it is outside. The sun is shining bright, the days are longer, the sky is clear and I'm itching to be outside all the time. I don't even mind the little bugs that start showing up, that's how happy springtime makes me! It could possibly have something to do with my birthday being in April. Which by the way I'm voting for April being the best birth month, it's far enough from Christmas and it's not in the dead of summer when your birthday parties are weird b/c half your friends are on vacation. It's perfect the perfect time to ask for a new swimsuit or sundress that will make your summer wardrobe fresh and fun!  I'm sure you can argue for your own birth month as much as I am here. But to me, spring means birthdays, grilling out, preparing for vacations and weddings, and spending evenings on the deck by the chiminea.

A fun pen can make a meeting more fun! Ok, not the meeting itself but at least it'll make your notebook look more fun!

Tory Burch Reva's - seriously the most comfortable and cute shoe on the planet! I'll take one in every color please!

Margaritaville Machine - if you're getting married soon DO NOT leave this off your registry! It makes restaurant quality margaritas! You will love!

David Yurman Jewelry - anything and everything I'll take it!

Forever 21 jeans - go try a pair on, they're $10! What have you got to lose?

Voluspa Candles - my favorite is the Celebration Makassar Peach and Ebony scent

My Filofax Domino organizer - available in 8 different colors! The strap around the outside is so handy for tucking things into when you're on the go.

All things Juliska - "Quite Possibly the most beautiful tableware in the world" I couldn't agree more!

Vintage or vintage looking bottle openers - we've got a couple and I just think they're so fun to look at and display. I know you really only need one bottle opener, but I like them so don't rain on my parade.

The Beatles - I loved the Beatles in 6th grade! Don't know how they came on my radar then but I was obsessed! Me and my bff Patti knew every song, but Please Please Me was by far our favorite cd. My love for The Beatles has come about again with the recent purchase of Beatles Rock Band! I could do an entire post about them, note to self.
