Anniversary Sunset Sailing!

We celebrated our 2nd anniversary with a sunset sail on Lake Hefner!

We enjoyed a bottle of champagne during our sail.

It was perfect. Cheers to many many more to come!

A Very Happy Anniversary!

I can't believe it's been a whole year since we got married! It seems like yesterday, we were reciting our vows to each other and dancing the night away with our best friends and family! Here are a few of my favorite photos to remember our wedding.

It's been a wonderful year, we furnished our rental house, packed it all up when we bought our first house, moved to Oklahoma City, went on a few trips, and have had lots of laughs! I can't wait for what the next year will entail! I love you Dave! Happy Anniversary! :)

You Think You Know Someone...

This happened about this time last year, but it was brought to my attention again so I thought I'd share.

Let me set the scene for you:
My family is in town for my brother's basketball tournament. Dave and I are driving to the city to see one of his games. I've mentioned before I tend to get very bored in the car, even if it's just a 30 minute drive.
This particular drive was no different, I got bored and started looking around Dave's car for something to read/play with/ask a stupid question about. I wasn't able to find anything interesting when out of the blue:
Dave goes, "Oh look in the glove box!"
I'm intrigued. I sort through the mass of car papers and napkins. "What am I looking for?"
Dave: Just keep looking
Me: ugh this better be good.

Then, I found it.
The weirdest, most obscure bumper sticker you've ever seen!

Dave immediately starts dying laughing and tells me he got this bumper sticker in high school and has been holding onto it ever since. Why? I ask. He tells me he's never had a good enough opportunity to use it. I don't blame him, I can't see any good reason to get rid of it.
Me:What does it mean?
Dave: That's the beauty of it, I have no idea!
Me: Does it mean, I'm going so fast you just $*&# yourself and need to change ya diaper?
Dave: I try not to speculate what it means and just appreciate it for what it is.
Me: Time to change ya diaper!
I'm crying I'm laughing so hard, I can't believe after 5 years of dating this little gem has been riding along with us the whole time and I never knew it until now!

The moral of this story is, no matter how well you think you know someone, you never know what kind of hilarious bumper sticker they might be carrying around.

Girls, check your husband's gloveboxes.
