Oh Happy Day!

Do you know what today is?? Well - Happy National Margarita Day!!!
You all know I looooove margaritas, so I thought I'd share my personal recipe for making the perfect margarita today! Not to be confused with my recipe for Skinny Margaritas, this one is not skinny. But it is Oh So Delicious!

This recipe makes a pitcher of margaritas (about 4 servings)
Ingredients:
8 ounces of clear tequila (the clear is important to the taste and I've noticed less of a hangover with clear tequila)
1/2 can frozen limeaid
2 ounces orange juice (I use this instead of Cointreau b/c this girl likes to shop and not spend $30 on a tiny bottle of Cointreau)
1/4 can of beer (this helps balance out the tartness of the limeaid)
lots of ice
Blend until it reaches your desired consistency. Garnish with a fresh lime wedge, and Enjoy!!

PS - I tried Bethenny's Skinny Girl Margarita that I picked up at the liquor store, it's pretty different, I liked it.  I had to add a little water to it and some fresh lime wedges b/c it was verrry tart. Have you all tried it? What'd you think?

ohhh yum! I love margaritas! I usually like mine on the rocks, no salt but a frozen margarita on a hot day is hard to beat!
