What's on my DVR

It's fall and that means all the new good TV is on! And I watch a lot of it! - seriously, people ask me what I do while Dave studies in the evenings... my usual answer is that I watch a lot of TV and it's nice not having to fight over the remote. (what will I do when he graduates? - that's a problem for another day)

Here's what I'm watching - with my opinions sprinkled in!

Sunday:
The majority of Sunday is spent watching NFL RedZone - I signed up for an all girls fantasy football team this year and I'm actually pretty into it. I think it's b/c my team is awesome - I'm in first place. NBD. (even though the girl I played this week started 3 guys that were injured... it still counts)

Sunday nights - RHOA just started - it's not my fave RH franchise but I love me some Nene.

Monday:
Cannot wait for the premier of RHOBH tonight!!! I wonder how Adrienne's divorce will play out... I thought their bickering was kind of cute in the beginning, then it got a little weird. Kyle and Lisa are still my faves. I wish Camille was still an "official cast member" I read she'll just have a supporting role.

Tuesday:

Happy Endings - Favorite show right now! - everyone please start watching! It's the new friends but SO much funnier! In case you need some convincing - watch this clip:

The Mindy Project - watched a couple times, pretty funny, loved her book so I'm giving this show a chance.

Wednesday:
Modern Family - duh - loved this show since the beginning, although I do think that Claire needs to eat a few chili cheeseburgers - sometimes her thinness is distracting.

Nashville - LOOOVE! Thank goodness Connie Britton got off of American Horror Story - she's amazing and I don't do horror. I look forward to this show the most every week!  (Maybe b/c I have a date with a friend to watch it every week but also  b/c it's Amazing!)

Thursday:
Lots of good shows on Thursdays(we usually save a few of these for the weekend or Monday) - I'll rank them in order of my faves:

First - The League - see above - obsessed with Fantasy Football and this show's humor reminds me of most of the guys Dave and I hang out with. (don't judge)
Second - Parks and Rec - Ron Swanson and Aziz Ansari. Enough said.

Third - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - weird humor - but Charlie has my stomach hurting from laughter most episodes. If you watch it then you get it.

Fourth - Real Housewives of Miami - these girls know how to bring the crazy! I don't really have a favorite on this one, I think the cast is a little too large to really get to know any of them, but maybe that's what they're going for on Miami? (I'm not sure any of them are likable if you see them for over 10 minutes)

Fifth - The Office - been watching this since the 1st season so we've got to finish it out, I'm excited to hopefully see Jim move onto bigger and better things and I still hope that Angela's baby is Dwight's.

Friday:
Shark Tank - makes me want to invent something and become bff's with Mark Cuban. We usually watch this earlier the next week b/c we're never home Friday evenings.

So what am I missing? Or what all are you watching? Please tell me I'm not the only one with this many shows in their weekly lineup...

Friday Night Lights Love

Friday Night Lights - we started watching it this summer when a good friend said I reminded her of the wife on the show, (which i now realize is a HUGE compliment! Thanks Ashley!) so I watched episode 1 and was hooked.  I got Dave to start watching it with me and we flew through the seasons this summer - then we finished it on Sunday.

It deserves a post because of the time we have spent watching it but also because of how much I loved the series. Coach Taylor and Tami were such a solid couple and it was so refreshing to watch a married couple that didn't cheat on each other and were real. I'm very happy with how the series ended, it tied up all of the characters story lines and I'm not gonna lie, had me in tears. I'm sad that it's over.

Oh and if you haven't watched FNL and still need convincing - Tim Riggins should do the trick:

What will fill the void now?
Anyone have any good recommendations? I'm currently watching a bunch of reality tv mostly: Real Housewives of New Jersey, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Rachel Zoe Project, Most Eligible Dallas, Border Wars (I know, random but I got hooked one day and it's pretty interesting) and a few non-reality programs: It's Always Sunny, Up All Night, How I Met Your Mother and Modern Family as soon as it starts. Wow. That's a lot. Maybe I don't need any other tv shows... yikes!

Media Whore

I've become somewhat of a Media Whore recently... from Pinterest to Bravo to TripAdvisor, I'm pretty much always tuned into something. So here I am to share my whore findings for you all :)

I joined {begged everyone I knew for an invite}Pinterest and am totally obsessed! How do I get a job working for this company? Finding cute things on the internet is kinda my thing...
Here are my a few of my favorites so far:

This reminds me of the fried zucchini appetizer I looooove from Pepper's in Utica Square!

Cannot wait to try this hairstyle!

Looking forward to rocking a similar outfit in San Fran next week!

Did you all watch the premier of Real Housewives of New Jersey?!!? O. M. G. talk about some drama!
Poor Teresa, her brother was totally at fault for that whole argument, not to mention he was about 17 drinks past what he should have had at his child's baptism! Yikes!

It looks like it's going to be a good season! Caroline is and will always be my fave, her and her family could do a spinoff and I'd watch for sure!

I saw Something Borrowed last week and thought it was a really cute movie BUT I have to agree with California Wife in that Kate Hudson's wardrobe was awful and I'll even take it one further, Gennifer Goodwin's wardrobe was also heinous. And don't get me started on the hair and makeup. Woof!
Whoever styled this movie needs to be fired b/c if you can make Kate Hudson look that bad you're clearly bad at your job. Just sayin.

If you read the book - the above dress is when they all went out in the Hamptons the first night and Darcy apparently had an amazeballs designer dress on - in the movie - not so much.
Mom-shorts are never a good look.
I guess this dress isn't terrible but paired with the shoes it definitely is not the best look.
This hair doesn't look that bad here, but trust me it was hard to look at in the actual movie.

The movie overall was good, it did the book justice and I appreciated that. It's just that I kept cringing with every new outfit that was presented it was hard to loooove it. ya know? Oh and the movie would have totally sucked without John Krasinksi, he was a breath of fresh air. Also I read an interview with him recently where he said he enjoys being in Rom Comedies and that he'd stay on the office forever b/c he owes his entire career to it. Love it when celebrities are so down to earth!

Not sure why you'd know this, or even care, but I also think the same thing about an Amanda Bynes movie. Yeah, that's right I've seen most of her work, get over it.
She was supposed to be the super hot girl in Sydney White and this is what her hair looked like the entire movie!
I mean what is that?? Do you ever put your hair in a ponytail then pull out ALL the front pieces and leave them stuck to your face? Um no.

Please let me know if there's any other media I'm missing! Lord knows I'll find time for it! :)

Fantasy Factory!

I'm Super Excited for the reunion of Rob and Big! When I saw this promo I immediately went to record ALL episodes of Fantasy Factory, I do not want to miss a moment of this dynamic duo! Rob and Big was one of the funniest shows, I have high hopes for season 4 of Fantasy Factory now!

What's Up Wicha?

I know a lot of you have been wondering what's up with me lately? The ole blog has suffered b/c I just haven't had much goin on. We're trying to save our skrilla for our big trip in a couple of weeks so we've been entertaining ourselves at home most evenings.

Here are some of the highlights as of late:

Last Friday we had drinks with some friends in Norman and enjoyed the Springlike weather on the patio until the wee hours of the morning.

The Real Housewives of Miami started this week and so far I'm a fan. Adriana totally reminds me of Sofia Vergara on Modern Family.  Did you all watch?

I got a new purse for our trip finally! Isn't is cute!?

I'm SO excited for the premiere of Bethenny Ever After tonight on Bravo! I have a SERIOUS girl crush on her, I think we'd be bffs if we ever met. Her conversations with Jason remind me A LOT of Dave and I's. Check out a sneak peak of tonight's episode and tell me how much you love her too!

Oh I better go pick up some more Skinny Girl Margarita to celebrate this tonight! :)

Also, have any of you read Reality Steve today!? Holy Spoilers Alert! He's been wrong this whole time apparently... you MUST go check it out here if you haven't already! Gotta say, I'm pretty pleased with the news. I've been a big Emily fan the whole time, I just wish they would have aired more of their time together that wasn't so awkward!

We have been playing a lot of tennis lately! The weather has been perfect!

Hopefully this beautiful weather will get me out of the February Funk and back on the blogosphere!

And it looks like DRAMA!

Love that DC is over and the Real Real Housewife NeNe can be entertaining me once a week! :)

Real Housewives Ridiculousness!

The RHONJ reunion part 1 was nuts last night! I'm glad we finally know what everyone was talking about at the last reunion regarding what Danielle did to Dina. I also really liked Teresa's dress! Wasn't it cute?
{image via}

Then I was reading Dlisted and found out why Danielle got her so heated when she mentioned how Teresa didn't go visit her "nephew" when he was born.  Turns out it may have been her husbands lovechild and not a nephew.... You know what they say - Bravo knows DRAMA! haha wow. I'm a nerd. In case you're wondering - here's a link to my source.

They've also officially announced the ladies who will be on RHO Beverly Hills. Including Paris Hilton's aunt, Kelsey Grammer's ex-wife. Read all about it here.
RHOBH has some potential, I'll be watching. Not that I discriminate against the Real Housewives. I hated the first 2 episodes of DC and yet I'm still watching.
I like Mary's family and Stacie seems the most real and down to earth, but Michaele is definitely on something and Cat is exactly how Stacie put it, "Straight up Rude!"
What do you all think?

Looks like I have a lot in common with The Weatherman

I'm a little behind and just watched the 2nd episode of Bachelor Pad. OMG This show is good! Talk about a trainwreck! It reminds me of a prettier cast of Real World Road Rules Challenge.

I thought it was hilarious that The Weatherman and I both share a love of tennis and our favorite place we've traveled to is Positano, Italy. I so could have gotten the rose that night! (I know I'm married, I'm just sayin)

And here's me and Dave in Positano - circa 2008.

ahhh memories... And I'm now taking donations for the "Send us back to Positano Fund"
