"Experience is one thing you can't get for nothing." - Oscar Wilde

Does a statue get any cooler?

We're so excited to visit Oscar Wilde's statue in Dublin, it's in Merrion Park, which just happens to be on the walk from our bed and breakfast to the St. Patrick's Day festivities.

We fully plan on hunkering down with ole Oscar and reminiscing on some of his famous hilarious remarks. (Something I can fully relate to)

Here are a few of my favorites:

"Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination."
I couldn't agree more.

"If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you."
Wise words.

"An acquaintance that begins with a compliment is sure to develop into a real friendship."
Truth.

"Life is too important to be taken seriously."
 L-i-v-i-n

"I love talking about nothing. It is the only thing I know anything about."
 The definition of twitter.

"I choose my friends for their good looks, my acquaintances for their good characters, and my enemies for their intellects. A man cannot be too careful in the choice of his enemies."
Probably good advice.

"I am so clever that sometimes I don't understand a single word of what I am saying."
I too feel this way quite often.

And my all time favorite, his last dying words:
"Either that wallpaper goes or I do."

I'll have a Guinness for you in Dublin! Hope you're all having a great day!
