Not Me...

It wasn't me who did any of these things...

Went to the grocery store on Friday, bought tons of good food, but settled on a frozen pizza for dinner. (The grocery store wears me out too much to cook afterwards - is that just me?)

Got 10 minutes away from home and realized the football tickets were still on the desk.

Had 3 possible houses to print said tickets - nobody had any printer ink... guess I'm not the only one to blame.

Drink a beer in the Student Library while printing tickets on Saturday, next to dedicated studiers. Who studies when there's a football game going on??

No, I didn't leave the game after the 1st quarter b/c it was too hot.

No, I didn't walk to campus corner alone, knowing I'd find someone to hang out with. Luckily I had a lot of friends with the same idea. (No cell phone service on gameday sucks.)

No way would I play flip cup with miniature shot glasses for hours...

I'd never lay down in the back of a cab so that the driver didn't think we had too many people back there.

Nope, it wasn't me that thought we lost our camera on Saturday night and called 3 places and searched everywhere to find it in my purse, wrapped up in our library printed tickets the next morning. (Sorry for sounding the alarm, I thought I was better at looking for stuff.) Thank the lord b/c otherwise these little gems would have been lost forever:

I'd like to think that I'd never pass out fall gently asleep on the solid floor right next to my unblown up air mattress... but unfortunately that's how we ended our gameday. Stay away from miniature flip cup people. It may or may not cause bruised hips the next day.

Cheers to gameday! I hope you've learned from my mistakes...

Sounds like a great game day! Sometimes some A/C and a cold beer are much more fun that a hot, sweaty game in the sun!

I am always exhausted after the grocery store! Especially if it's a trip to Wal-Mart.

And there nothing like having a lost camera freakout.....but that's always a sign of a GREAT night/day!

p.s. why do we not run into each other on game days?! We need to fix this!

Erin - we always go to NY Pizza after the games, maybe that's why we haven't seen you? Stop by and say hi next week! :)

Wow, you summed up game day really well---lots of activity and sweating! Who would have thought little flip cups could do you in?
p.s. we have printer ink now!
