2010 - Bam!

2010 was a wonderful year! In case you missed anything, here's the highlights:

We bought our first house! And Moved in. Tried to find a new grocery store. Painted the dining room. Cooper escaped. Started commuting. Enjoyed commuting with Dave for about a month. Hit 100 posts.
Learned something new about Dave. Turned 25 and got our First Time Homeowners Tax Credit. Road tripped to Austin for a Girls weekend with Chelsea Handler. Celebrated Cooper and Nigel's Birthday.
Went to a few weddings. Saw my Mom's name on a plaque at the tennis club. Traveled to Belize with my family. Threw my first and second wedding shower. Dave turned 25. Celebrated our First Anniversary. Attended Dave's White Coat Ceremony. Saw Lady Gaga. Had fun at a Bachelorette. Took the dogs on lots of walks. Celebrated our First Anniversary in Florida. Invented a dance move. Changed my Blog Title. Hosted some fun tailgates. High-fived Dane Cook. Attempted a family photo for Christmas. Traveled to Crested Butte with Friends for New Years! Posted some memorable Wordless Wednesdays. Made some yummy food. And had some memorable conversations with Dave.
I look forward to what 2011 has to offer, there's no telling with our little fam.

I've been avoiding talking about my status on my 2010 Resolutions... mostly because I set the bar too high on one of them. But I think I did pretty good on the rest of them.
Let's see shall we?
  1. Get Organized - Well we moved into a bigger house and everything has it's place now, so I did good there. (Never mind the fact that we still have stuff everywhere... Guests don't ever need to use the guest bedroom closet do they?)
  2. Read More - Ok I definitely did read more than 2009. More being the key word here. I however, did not make my goal of reading a new book every month. I got about 4 1/2 books down. Maybe I shouldn't have set the bar so high on this one. Oops. But I did enjoy reading: The Art of Racing in the Rain, The Nanny Returns, Something Borrowed, Something Blue and I'm halfway through Mennonite in a Little Black Dress. So let's just move on....
  3. Blog More - Check! I really love blogging, when I haven't written in a couple of days I miss it, and I'm constantly thinking of things to put on the ole blog.
  4. Buy a House and Make it a Home - Check! We closed on Feb 26! I'm pretty confident that we've made it a home by now. There are still a lot of things I'd like to do to the house but for now it's perfect! :)
  5. Find a Tennis Club nearby and get back in the swing of it - We were unsuccessful in finding a club we could afford, but we did play a lot of tennis, around 2 nights a week spring-fall. It was an adventure trying to find tennis courts nearby that had nobody asking if they could play with us or a real life pimp walked by... that's a story for another day.

{b/c no good blog post is sans- pictures}

Happy New Year!
2011 Resolutions to come...
